I got 6-7 pages into this book, and I find it to be a bit much. While allegory appears to be a valid way to read the Song of Songs, I think that this author is trying waaaay too hard to connect unrelated pieces of scripture. Not everything in the Bible is allegory. Not everything is prophecy. The genres of the variety of scriptures that are used here are muddled and not taken into account, which makes me not take this text seriously as a commentary. Genre and historical context should be studied and acknowledged for each text before attempting to draw relational conclusions between texts, which this text does not do. I can't count it as a reliable source of interpretation if it's not going to follow the basic principles thereof.

What comes from Gods Heart reaches our hearts. Reading this all I could say to myself was this was me. Looking back over my life receiving Jesus at 14 years old. Loving Him and getting to know Him throughout the years has been heart changing. But obviously I have fell out of love with Him. I often time find myself wondering about Him. About the time I live in. I want more understanding. If you are reading this, may you please pray for my soul please. That Jesus will speak to me personally. God Bless you.
