About this ebook

Book 1 in the Galactic Storm Series

The Terran Empire is at war with The Rhimodian cyborgs. The Terrans believe the cyborgs have stolen a system of planets from them. At least, that's how it started.

It degenerated into hatred and fear that may destroy both people.

Veta, AKA The Temptress, a feared spy for the Terran Empire, protects the Emperor's two daughters, the only family he acknowledges in the galaxy. The Imperial Princesses are ready to end this war they have grown up in. Like their mother before them, they want to broker peace between the Terran Empire and the Rhimodians.

Peace would save both species.

They arrive with a Rhimodian cyborg escort, but are still attacked.

Veta, unsure of where the rest of the ambassadors escaped to, must find the princesses and learn who attacked the envoy.

With her enormous cyborg escort whose body suit shows exactly what kind of physical assets he has, Veta has to use all her skills to get this cyborg to trust her.

Some of them, she'll enjoy.

She's sure of it.

If you love sci-fi romance, space opera, war in the stars, Terrans, and cybernetic enhanced humans, you'll love this series about these cyborgs.

Love this book!! This book takes you to a different galaxy. The relationship between Veta and Wrathin starts out as enemies, but trying for peace. Wrathin was programmed and determined to protect Veta , even from her own people. Their relationship grows into something different. I've never read a sci-fi romance book about cyborgs.I'm glad I read this book. I can't wait for book 2.

Can peace ever be reached between the Terrans and the Cyborgs? War is ongoing with the knowledge of how it started forgotten, degenerating and to hatred and fear. Back story: Veta, aka The Temptress, is a feared spy of the Terran Empire, who protects the Emperor's to daughters (Princesses Caoimhe and Eleanor) who wish to end the war and broke her peace between their empire and The Rhimodians, the cyborgs. Wraithin's Cyborg squad was chosen as the escort to ensure the Terran ambassador's entourage entered their space and docked safely. On the way to a peace treaty, they were attacked. Now Veta is on the hunt to find the princesses and find out who attacked the envoy with Wrathin. Deception and betrayal rule this insta-lust and crave-able to the end when Veta and Wraithin join forces to search the other moons for the rest of the ambassadors.

About the author

USA Today and NY Times bestselling author Candice Gilmer leads a dangerous double life as a mommy and a writer. In between boo-boo healing and fixing broken toys, she writes stories usually to the tune of children’s television shows.

Her books range from vampires and werewolves to mermaids and fairies to contemporary and fairy tale romances–a huge variety, just like her broad, geek-girl heart. She adores Star Wars, Star Trek, Marvel, and DC, (you CAN love them all), and her hero will always be Captain America.

Growing up in the Midwest, Candice stays close to her family, especially the ones with basements when the tornadoes come around.

All in all, she stays very busy, but really, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

Well, maybe a little less children’s television.
