Judith L. Kovacs (1945-2020) was a New Testament scholar and a longtime religious studies faculty member at the University of Virginia. She was also the series editor of the Blackwell Bible Commentaries and coauthor (with Christopher Rowland) of the Blackwell volume on Revelation.
