Twenty-seven year old, rising twenty-first century poet/author Christopher Adrian Chaloux is a New England native. He was born in Northampton, Massachusetts. As a kid, he was raised in the small town of Easthampton, Massachusetts. At the encouragement of his grandmother (also a poet), he began to write poetry at a very young age. At the age of twenty-one he moved to the Vern-Mont Farm's Walnut Grove Dairy Farm - located in Vernon, Vermont - where he worked for a local John Deere tractor dealership. After a life-altering personal tragedy, he relocated to Lafayette, Indiana in search of new work and a new out-look on life. There, he completed his first collection of poetry titled: Lamp in a Dark Place. During his two-year tenure in Indiana he also began and completed his masterpiece work; Beyond the Mirror: Four Seasons of Insight. He recently returned to Massachusetts in order to face the ultimate challenge of his lifetime. He is currently working on an autobiography (Fields of Green) chronicling his compelling life-story, and intends on retro-publishing Lamp in a Dark Place later this year.
