I just heard about the TV series and Ross Poldark. The book has me wanting to find the TV series. This is my type of book; I thoroughly enjoyed it. I just finished "Demelza" and can't wait to start the next one.

Smooth, even read. Nothing harsh, just very good story telling!

Watched on pbs last summer. The reading was so much better than the watching.

About the author

Winston Graham was the author of forty novels. His books have been widely translated and his famous Poldark series has been developed into two television series in twenty-four countries. Winston Graham was a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and in 1983 was awarded the OBE.
