About the author

Dr. Rebecca Siegel, a licensed prescriber of medical marijuana in New York State, is a psychiatrist on staff with Amen Clinics. Dr. Siegel specializes in the assessment and treatment of anxiety, mood disorders, and ADHD, with a special focus on issues confronting adolescents and young adult women. She also has a particular interest in research on the therapeutic effects, risks, and benefits of cannabis treatment. Dr. Siegel believes in treating the whole person with a range of therapeutic techniques and approaches. Dr. Siegel is certified as a Diplomate by both the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
