4 stars. it is an excellent story. well written with excellent characters. minus 1 star because it depressed me for day with how well written it was. I could not read it all in one sitting. Real life/work...I had to stop in the middle where our heroine is getting the worst of it from her captors. I was depressed for her. that is how well written it is. how many authors can make you feel for characters so much that it ruins your day when they are having a tough time?

All of her books are enthralling and they are hard to put down. She's one of my favorite all time authors .....I recommend any of her books. You won't be disappointed. !!!!!
