I read this because I really liked the film adaptation. It didn't disappoint! There is plenty of mystery, murder, violence and of course the twist! The book is much more focused on character development (surprise surprise) and is a lot slower paced, however, it doesn't lack any of the thrills!

I really enjoy all of the Jack Reacher books, but haven't been able to give 5☆'s as of yet. The reason being is for the mistakes. In this one it says that Reacher "doesn't know much about house's and has Never owned one." That's not true. General Garber left him his home in his will and Reacher lived in it for a while, but sold it. Other than the few mistakes, this is a great read! Still just Cannot understand why they picked Tom Cruise for this role! Cruise would look like a Hobbit next to Reacher!

Many would say the book is better than the movie; I say they are both excellent! Slight differences; the biggest is as good as Cruise is in the movie, he'll never be 6' 5" and would like to see a more appropriate "Reacher"character.
