I read this because I really liked the film adaptation. It didn't disappoint! There is plenty of mystery, murder, violence and of course the twist! The book is much more focused on character development (surprise surprise) and is a lot slower paced, however, it doesn't lack any of the thrills!

I really enjoy all of the Jack Reacher books, but haven't been able to give 5☆'s as of yet. The reason being is for the mistakes. In this one it says that Reacher "doesn't know much about house's and has Never owned one." That's not true. General Garber left him his home in his will and Reacher lived in it for a while, but sold it. Other than the few mistakes, this is a great read! Still just Cannot understand why they picked Tom Cruise for this role! Cruise would look like a Hobbit next to Reacher!

Hey you CHEEKY BASTARD, you recommended a book titled "Relic" but when I searched for that name it came up with more than 20 with RELIC in the title! Is it the one by 'Preston & Child'? I haven't read the book Jack Reacher - One Shot but I saw the movie (3 times), I loved it. However, with everyone saying that the book is better than the movie, I hesitate because I don't want to ruin the movie for me! So even though I have not read it YET, based on the movie and people saying the book is better, I gave it five stars. I did not know that the author has a whole string of novels about Jack Reacher, so I will have to start reading them.
