Rogue Wave has not only a gorgeous cover, but more importantly a gorgeous story. After the great world-building in DEEP BLUE, we are now following the mermaids in their quest to defeat the great evil which threatens their world. It is a most exciting book and reminds me of the Harry Potter books, lots of magic, mystery and a totally new undersea world. Looking forward to the next two books in this magical series.

I really enjoyed Deep Blue and Rouge Wave did not disappoint. I chewed through it quickly and can't wait for the next books. There were parts a bit confusing but sharing the book between Neela and Serafina's separate journeys was extremely enjoyable and gave a new facet to the story. I can't wait to see what the other girls go through separately and together.

Love it follow sera and neela as they go out and seek out the talismans of their ancestors. Only problem is both realms have been taken over by death riders. Neela is trapped in her room since shes considered insane. And sera has to keep.postponing her return to cruela in serch of information. When she finally gets there a deep betrayal cuts her heart once again. She finds a safe house but it is raided. Soon after she finds out key information and some good close allies helping stop the death riders.READ!!!

Jennifer Donnelly was born in Port Chester, New York in 1963. She majored in English literature and European history at the University of Rochester. Her books for adults include The Tea Rose, The Winter Rose, and The Wild Rose. She is also the author of a picture book for children entitled Humble Pie and several young adult novels including Revolution and These Shallow Graves. A Northern Light was awarded Britain's Carnegie Medal, the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Young Adult Fiction, and a Michael L. Printz Honor.
