That was a good ride. I love this book very much. It was fun and entertaining. It made me wake up early in the morning and sleep late at night just to have the meeded time to read this. The story was good. I was intrigued by the title as I frequently see this book in Facebook. It's a good thing I picked this up. The story was slow paced unlike the action packed fantasy there usually is nowdays. I followed Evie as she do her job as the Villain's assisstant while looking for the traitor, who messed things up with their operations. The writing style was trully entertaining. The characters were funn and their jokes were hilarious. They made fun of themselves and the evilness they were doing. Evie and Trystan was an adorable couple as they both thought that they will never deserve each other and did not know how valuable they were with one another. The plot twist was mouth dropping and heart breaking. Many good things can still happen. I can't wait for book 2 and 3. Good job author.

Magical, Fun, cute story. Evie has been trying to take care of her family since her father is ill, and she stumbles into a new career with the infamous villain, and she learns that not all things are as they seem. I really enjoyed this story and I can’t wait to see what comes next. I found the characters well developed and likable.

I bought this book 100% due to the author's TikTok and YouTube videos, and the book did not disappoint! It has everything a good fantasy office rom-com should - morally grey characters, "touch-her-and-die", grumpy/sunshine dynamics and loads of sexual tension. I cannot wait for book 2!
