About this ebook

Chloe Richardson had just landed the biggest client of her career. A promotion was in her future, or so she thought until the handsome Jason Mitchell walked into her office with his gorgeous smile and searing blue eyes—and took her job.

Losing her job so close to Christmas, Chloe’s only choice was to go back home to Aubrey Heights, where the Christmas spirit is celebrated in a tourist loving, wonderland. Perhaps she can pull herself together before the new year—before her new career search.

However, Jason follows her to Aubrey Heights—with a mission of his own. First he stole her job—now he wants to steal her heart.

Is the spirit of Christmas alive enough in her to let that happen?

Corporate Christmas by Bernadette Marie was a good 4 star read. Chloe is a hard worker, so much so that she missed Thanksgiving with her family. She is working towards a promotion that she should have in the bag. When she meets Jason he has come into the office to speak with her boss’s son. Jason gets the impression that Chloe is surprised to find out who he is. He doesn’t feel right about the situation and soon finds out that he had taken the job she was working towards. When he finds out the truth about Chloe’s departure from the company he is even more upset. When Jason shows up in Aubrey Heights, Chloe is confused as to why he’s there. Will he be able to convince Chloe to work with him? Will these two give into their attraction and get a HEA? Overall I really enjoyed this book. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. I didn’t care too much for the boss’s son, and hated what he had done to Chloe. I really liked Chloe, she is a hard working woman with a great personality. Jason grew on me as well, the chemistry between them was great. The author does a great job of pulling you in with her writing. I look forward to reading more from her. 1-click and get started today on this great holiday read.

4 star review of Corporate Christmas by Bernadette Marie Bernadette Marie is a new author to me and I have no idea why that is. I really enjoyed this story about Chloe Richardson and Jason Mitchell. From the moment Jason walked into her office and stole the promotion that was going to be hers, he turned Chloe’s life upside down. Returning home to Aubrey Heights the last person she expects or wants to turn up is Jason. Christmas is big business in Aubrey Heights and Chloe hopes that the magic of the holiday season will help guide her to a new career path. Jason follows Chloe because he senses that there is something between them, if only he can get Chloe to talk to him and forgive him for getting the job she fully expected to be hers. I loved the description of Aubrey Heights, it sounds like a town I could be happy in. This was a heart warming story, centred around the most magical time of the year and was well written and entertaining. It will certainly get you in the mood for the festive season.

About the author

Bestselling Author Bernadette Marie is known for building families readers want to be part of. Her series The Keller Family has graced bestseller charts since its release in 2011. Since then she has authored and published over thirty-five books. The married mother of five sons promises romances with a Happily Ever After always… and says she can write it because she lives it.

Obsessed with writing since the age of 12, Bernadette Marie officially started her journey as an author in 2007 when she finalized a manuscript she'd been writing for 22 years, shelved it, and wrote 12 more books that year. In 2009 she was contracted with a small publisher in a deal that would eventually go bad. From that experience, she knew she could take control of her career and that's what she did.

A chronic entrepreneur since opening her first salon at the age of twenty, Bernadette Marie established her own publishing house in 2011, 5 Prince Publishing, so that she could publish the books she liked to write and help make the dreams of other aspiring authors come true too. Believing there is a place for the fresh author's voice, she not only publishes but coaches others who wish to publish their work independently.

Bernadette Marie is the happily married mother of five hockey playing boys. When she is not in the stands, she and her husband run their family business together. She is a lover of stout craft beers and has an addiction to all things chocolate.
