The Highland Laird's Bride by author Nicole Locke is third in her Lovers and Legends series and absolutely one of my favorites! This story revolves around Lioslath of Clan Fergusson and Bram the Laird of Colquhoun. If you've read the previous two books then you have seen Bram and heard a little of the Fergusson clan. I'll admit in book one it took me a while to start to like Bram. He was Laird of his clan, and came off as arrogant and used to being in charge and in control of everything and everyone around him. But oh my, in this story I absolutely fell for him! He was a fantastic hero and the romance between him and Lioslath was one of the best. Lioslath was one of those heroines where you immediately want to see her get her HEA. I absolutely loved her, so strong and she challenges Bram every step of the way. She's not the type of woman Bram thought he wanted as a wife but they were absolutely perfect for each other. I really had a hard time putting this book down and if I could rate it 10 stars I would! Absolutely loved it!
