My Fair Viscount by Jess Michaels The Scandal Sheet #4 Pygmalion with a twist...this time Viscount David Shaw is playing Eliza Doolittle getting an education for his debut in society and Rose Higgins is playing Professor Henry Higgins...I had the sound track of My Fair Lady running through my mind as I read this book ;) What I liked: * David – true to himself but willing to do whatever it took to provide for himself and his mother * Rose – I liked her...she was much more than a woman who taught etiquette and deportment * David & Rose together :) * Richard – David’s cousin in line for the Viscountcy was a good man who did the right thing...would love to see him find romance in a future book * The HEA ending What I didn’t like: * That so much suffering took place in the lives of Rose, David and David’s mother...long before the story begins. Miss Rose Higgins has a successful reputation as a comportment teacher to budding debutantes. When she's approached to help the infamous new Viscount Shaw, she has no interest in putting herself on the line until she's made an offer she can't refuse. I found this to be a fun & entertaining short read. There were laugh out moments ie David’s reply as to how he liked his tea! I also loved that David made his debut at the Abernathe ball, so linking the1797 club to this series. Instant attraction, which because they were sequestered in the country quickly meant they fell in love but how could a new scandalous Viscount be with a middle class teacher? The ending was very satisfying. I loved Richard a truly lovely man who deserves his HEA My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read

Being the honest man he was, Richard Shaw found out there was another heir beside him that should take the title of Viscount. So he searched and found David Shaw, a man who had practically grown up in the rookeries and was about as polished as rough piece of granite! Richard signed him up for comportmant classes with Rose Higgins, who had great reputation but feels she cannot help a man. But she became swayed with a large monetary amount would be paid. Of course, money cannot buy everything and such is when David and Rose meet. He wants not part of learning to be "polished", although there is an instant attraction between them! A fun story, although it seemed to go quickly but you will want to see if the unpolished man can become a part of society!
