I really like some of the themes and lore used in this book. It's an easy fun read if you want something light and intriguing. I found the plot a little predictable, however there are parts of character interaction that I cannot figure out yet. I will continue reading the series.

Dont try to compare the book and film as quite a bit of creative license was used in the film although its still a good film. As to the book, its well written and kept me wanting to read more, well off to read the next book.

Read this book years ago, just read it again, and am focused on reading the series. It's a great read and I highly recommend it! Hoping for a proper movie Adaption on the series, The Seventh Son is just terrible.
