About this ebook

Callie McClain is back in Montana after a twelve year absence to care for her ailing father, despite the fact she can’t stand the cold and isolation. But in an ironic twist of fate, it seems Montana is finally giving her what she wants—blistering heat and a fiery glow that threatens to incinerate everything in its path. Wildfire. The only thing hotter than the advancing flames is the smokejumper who comes to her rescue, and suddenly Callie is finding reasons why Montana might just have everything she’s ever wanted.

Tyler Dodson can’t recall a time when he didn’t want to be a smokejumper. There’s nothing as dangerous—or as exhilarating—as jumping, until he rescues a pretty veterinarian from an advancing wildfire. He knows he shouldn’t get involved. He doesn’t need that kind of complication in his life, and distractions of any kind can be deadly in his line of work. So why can’t he keep his mind – and his hands – off of Callie McClain?

Heat by Karen Foley....Another great book in this series, just when you think you read the best another pops in. This is a sweet fast reading book about Callie going to Montana to help her ailing father and Hot firefighter Tyler comes to the rescue. You will not want to miss this one or any in this series. I was given a complimentary book by publisher for an honest review.

Tyler Dodson woke to the sound of the alarm blaring in the early morning light. Tyler is a smokejumper out of Glacier Falls and he has a fire to get to. An unfortunate situation leaves Tyler and a couple other guys heading to a structure fire and evacuation. Callie McClain is trying hard to get her father moving with the fire so close to their home but he is too worried about the wolves. With five wolves in the truck, they have to leave now. While Callie is trying to pry her father off of the fencing, she sees three firemen heading their way. It is Tyler that Callie sees first and for the moment forgets what is happening around her. When Tyler ends up in the hospital due to too much exposure to the smoke, Callie finds herself walking into his room to thank him for saving them. However, the more time she spends with him, the harder she is finding it to walk away. After all, long distance relationships do not work out. Can they enjoy the time they have and leave it at that? This is book #4 for this series and I realize I cannot get enough! I am enjoying the characters and their story lines. I highly recommend this book!

This was a wonderful addition to the firefighters series. Callie was a great character and so was Tyler. They had great chemistry. Their biggest hangup is that the lived so far away from each other. Tyler was certain he couldn't ever make a long distance relationship work, so they were just in it for the short term, or at least that was the plan. It was fun seeing how Tyler changed throughout the story. It was really easy to like him.
