Willie is a washing machine, and not a happy one at that. He believes he could have been made for so much more in this world. Willie is put next to an older, and much wiser machine, Donald Dryer. They live in a small house, with a young couple and their children. Donald continually teaches and encourages his friend Willie. As in life, the years go by, and like so many lessons, some take time to learn. At times, we may ask our children to help the lady next door, or maybe clean their room. We should teach children to do their best, at the jobs they are given, be thankful, and be an encouraging light to those around them. Teaching children to do their best, will stay with them all their life. A book for children and adults to read and learn from, together.
