A Princess For A Bride: 5 Stars I absolutely love a hero who is a bit socially awkward and Edward was certainly that. When Victoria proposes that they marry to unite their families he agrees. She is prepared to have a comfortable life living separately from her husband with the occasional social obligations. But what she gets is so much more than she could have ever imagined. I really enjoyed this fast paced read. There were some great secondary characters that I hope to read more of as well as some mid angst conflict. The conflict revolves around Victoria’s growing attraction to her husband, his lack of communication skills, and her Rothman pride. The steam level was perfect and it wraps up very nicely in a sweet epilogue that also sets us up for the next couple. This is a feel good book that is perfect for a quiet afternoon when you need a quick steamy read filled with romance. Escaping A Royal Wedding: 4 Stars This was a sweet story steeped with a bit of angst of two people who are betrothed to someone else. Ana thought her betrothal to Prince Erik had been forgotten since he never came for her six years ago. Now she has been informed that the wedding will be taking place in three weeks. Nothing she says or does can stop it from happening. To escape from her turmoil she slips past her guards and indulges in a coffee out in public. It is there that she meets Marcus. What begins as a brief flirtation soon becomes clandestine meetings, romantic dinners, dancing and a chemistry that cannot be denied. I really enjoyed this quick read with a twist that the reader is aware of and that the author sets up for the big showdown. Knowing it was coming, I was on tether hooks as to when, where and how Ana and Erik would learn the truth. It was a charming and enjoyable journey to be sure.
