About this ebook

Cassia has always trusted the Society to make the right choices for her: what to read, what to watch, what to believe. So when Xander's face appears on-screen at her Matching ceremony, Cassia knows with complete certainty that he is her ideal mate . . . until she sees Ky Markham's face flash for an instant before the screen fades to black.

The Society tells her it's a glitch, a rare malfunction, and that she should focus on the happy life she's destined to lead with Xander. But Cassia can't stop thinking about Ky, and as they slowly fall in love, Cassia begins to doubt the Society's infallibility and is faced with an impossible choice: between Xander and Ky, between the only life she's known and a path that no one else has dared to follow.

Look for CROSSED, the sequel to MATCHED, in Fall 2011!

Okay, so I didnt really like this book because nothing really felt new. I felt like I've seen a lot of the things in matched in a lot of movies, but I did like story, it was just, there was nothing pulling me foreward to make want to continue. This book just felt dull, and it felt too normal. Maybe this is just my opinion because this book is pretty dystopian. This book just fell flat for me.

Ok, first of all this book has a couple minor similarities with other dystopian series out there, but it's so much more. I can't compare it to the other good ones like humger games and divergent. It's really different, less strategic when it comes to the fall of the status quo, because it isn't all about revolution even though it's a major theme like in other dystopian stories. This story is very poetic (literally and figuratively) and in some ways abstract. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
