A very informative book on modern day explanation of Ayurveda, the ancient Indian medical system. The evidences of effect of different ayurvedic formulations (herbal product, bhasmas etc) by in vitro studies and clinical trials is extremely useful. It shows ancient Indians had thorough knowledge of medicines and surgery. Thanks a lot the editor and the authors who put in a great effort to demystify Ayurveda and bolster its effectivity on the basis of modern Western science.
