Red is tired of her boring life and is looking for a little fun. That's what makes the bad boy rocker, Griffin so enticing to her. He's so different from anyone she would ever be with and way more than she bargained for. Griffin is also bored until he see's Red that is. Seeing her, he can just imagine all kinds of the interesting things the two of them could get into and can't wait to get started. It's only supposed to be a one and done fling but after these two get a taste of each other, will one night be enough or will they leave each wanting so much more? Griffin, book 3 in the Ruthless MC series, is another one of Theodora Taylor's Alpha's that one minute you'll love and the next minute you'll question liked you even liked him in the first place but you'll still be rooting for him to get the girl in the end. These opposites meet and then don't find each other until years later. Of course there are secrets to uncover and passion to explore which makes for a combustible romance that keeps you reading to the very end. I loved it and can't wait until the next ride with the Ruthless MC.

I don't read, or in this case, listen to, a lot of biker romances, but this one isn't the typical biker romance. Oh, it has its share of darkness, and there are some rough and rowdy characters here who have no qualms about crossing lines most of us would never dream of. Then there's Griffin, who is a bit of a contradiction. He has a ruthless side, but he's also sweet and protective, and he has a softer side that's just as sexy as the arrogant biker who can have any girl he wants.

They aren't who they appear to be. Griffin and Red have instant chemistry and even though he’s a rockstar, she doesn’t know who he is. When a bet is issued he’s all in. Red isn’t who she appears to be but she likes what she sees so why not. But they both have issues and who they show isn’t who they are. I wasn’t sure starting out but quickly got into the story. I had some issues with Red (Bernice). She was making a stand but didn’t always stand up for herself. I was afraid (at the very beginning) that Griff was going to be spoiled and whiny. Both of them quickly got past those spots. I liked the relationship between them when they were being “real”. They were amazing together. I’m glad they found each other but them reconnecting kept the story moving quickly. Enough twists and turns.
