I have read this book five times -- every sentence, every word. I have also read everything else written about Michael Jackson. I can tell you with 100% certainty that this book is filled with incorrect facts, innuendoes, distortions and total lies. Diane Dimond has made an entire career (and tons of money) out of basically trashing Michael Jackson. I don't know why she hates him so much but she does and her book reflects that. I have done all the research especially about the "allegations". All you really have to do is research the two families who accused Michael -- Chandler in 1993 and Arvizo in 2003. In both families you have a mentally ill parent, greed and moral corruption. And BOTH allegations were made AFTER Michael began distancing himself from the family. Extortion, my friends. If you want to know the REAL truth about Michael Jackson please read Jermaine Jackson's book and Frank Cascio's book. Both are excellent, well-written and they actually KNEW MJ. After you read these books you will absolutely know that Michael Jackson never hurt any child and in fact devoted his life to helping to "Heal the World" -- just like he sang it.

Diane Dimond has has some kind of personal 'gotcha' when it comes to Michael Jackson. She inacurately reported facts during the 2005 trial. She just can't get over that Michael was found NOT Guilty on all 14 counts and that Tom (D.S.) Sneddon harassed and chased Michael for years. He was humiliated in the end, as was Diane Dimond who expected to rise to fame when Michael was convicted...Didn't happen, instead she lost her job with Court TV and she is now a Tabloid reporter who even today continues to haunt Michael Jackson in death. She has made statements regarding his beautiful children that are chilling regarding their biological connection to the Jackson family. Unless she was present at the time of Michael's kids conception or has some secret DNA report she needs to keep her hateful and hurtful opinions to herself and move on to some other celebrity she haunt and bring shame upon, as that is what she does best. If anyone wastes on cent on this book, it is one cent too much. Donate the price of this horrible book to a good charitable cause. Read Aphrodite Jones' The Michael Jackson Conspiracy, there you will find the real facts of the trial that Diane Dimond fails to report. She is all about sensationalism and has used Michael's good name and kind heart to make a few bucks..She needs to sit next to Martin Bashir and both of them take a one way trip on the Highway to Hell. Don't believe her so called facts, she couldn't even get the acreage correct of the Neverland Valley Ranch.. THIS IS A BOOK BASED ON DIANE DIMONDS' FANTASY. MICHAEL JACKSON WAS A GOOD MAN. "his unexpected acquittal on multiple charges of child molestation, there is a sense that the real truth behind the allegations is not known" - actually most people at the trial did expect him to be acquitted, mainly because there was no proof that he did anything wrong. What I've read is most of the "media" listened in the morning to the prosecutor then ran out and "filed" their stories. They didn't even listen to the defense attorneys tearing through the prosecutors witnesses later in the day. In the 1993 "case" the DA took all the evidence he had (pictures, sworn statements, witnesses, items from a raid on Jackson's home, FBI files) before two grand juries and they didn't even find enough evidence to indict Jackson. You don't need to read any books, what you need to read is the truth, in other words, the official court documents and official records, then you can decide for yourself who is telling the truth. You can find them online - free. When Jackson died one of the media "Jackson experts" confidently said, "now that he's dead all the other victims will come forward and tell their stories". I thought it was Dimond so I emailed her and asked her if in fact she had said that. She emailed back and said "you are mistaken it wasn't me". So, I emailed her back again and asked, "well were you aware that there were other victims that did not come forward?" She said yes she was aware and said they didn't come forward because "it isn't easy to deal with death threats". So then I emailed her back again and said, "but it's Jackson that's dead, he can't hurt them anymore so why won't they come forward now?" That was the last I heard from her, apparently she did not have an answer for that. So far, I don't know anyone who has an answer for that. I can believe that not all of them would come forward now - but they are adults now so not even one? Not believable, they don't exist. Just remember Jackson was, over a 17 year period, the most vetted person that ever lived and not one spec of proof has been found that he committed any crime. Those that still want to imply he was a pedophile either need to find some proof or go pound sand.

Diane Dimond served as chief executive investigative editor and on-air correspondent and anchor for Court TV's investigative unit. Prior to joining Court TV, Dimond was involved in Fox News Channel's continuing live coverage of the war on terrorism and also worked at MSNBC, where she anchored news hours and covered the 2000 presidential campaign and recount. She has also worked for National Public Radio in Washington, D.C., and WCBS-TV in New York, and has cohosted a nightly news program on CNBC. In 1990, Dimond became the investigative reporter for the syndicated program Hard Copy, and in 1993 she broke the Michael Jackson story. Time magazine cited her continuing coverage of the case among "The Best TV of '93." Diane lives in New York with her husband.
