Beverly Blackman-Mounce lives on a Texas ranch with her husband John. Their ranch happens to be the setting for The Invader. Because of many interesting things that have happened on this ranch in the last years, The Invader, though fiction, is based on nonfiction events!
The author acquired an M.Ed and an MDiv, having been both a public school teacher and a parish clergy. She has a large family: 3 children and their spouses; 4 step-children and their spouses;
7 grandsons; 4 step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter. The Invader was written with her grandchildren and step-grandchildren in mind.
