I laughed out loud, I gasped out loud, I worried the whole darn time. Totally a page turner and highly recommended. Based in Vegas, Anna, the self-aware heroine (as in, Anna is very aware of her fatal flaw) has developed a habit for being the center of attention in high profile murder investigations. Coincidence? Either way it’s a problem for the more morally astute, on-again-off-again hero, Jack (a homicide detective with a Bourbon issue). Surrounded by a gamut of ingenious characters all unique and holding true to themselves, the tangled web of being in cahoots with the underbelly of Vegas, while being in love with a law enforcement agent, and trying to tamp down an alter ego that really likes to come out and play, Anna’s predicaments will keep readers engrossed and entertained.
