Ratings and reviews

This was certainly a different take on werewolves. It meets all the standards for the genre, i.e.,silver aversion, full moon frenzy, sexy human form, the biting (even if the outcome is different,) but the shift in perspective that one change makes is quite startling. It certainly brings the author sharply to my attention. I also liked that the story was essentially more shifter than romance; it was more interesting. Makes me wonder whether an HEA is morally even possible in this world.

The book never explained how the main male character became a werewolf. It never explained how the killer werewolf became a werewolf. That info would have helped develop the story line better. Maybe in the next book it would explain more but I wasn't going to buy it! I did like the premise though. Aside from some lack of proofreading it was good, but I wouldn't have bought it!

there was no romance at all. this was just a paranormal book with action and mystery. there was no holding hands, hugging or kissing. I am not sure how they were able to put it under romance at all.
