A classic and one of my favorites. Reading the reviews, however, makes me ill. It's so clear that we don't use these books to adequately educate our children in history and literature anymore. Jane Austen is an important figure in feminist history and yet is reviewed by one reader as a "soap opera." This is , in fact, a masterful work that captures a moment in time, specifically for women. It analyzes with a critical eye the standards of the time and champions love in a time where marriage was often only a societal stepping stone.

This is a famous and great book. As the title—Pride and Prejudice, it means the personality of the two important characters, Elizabeth and Darcy. Mr. Darcy is a rich and well-knowing man; he has a great friend Charles Bingley. These are some reasons that he is pride of himself. He thinks he is better than those country people, so he sct like he is better. And Elizabeth has some prejudice with Darcy. I think this makes them relate to each other. Because Darcy is pride, Elizabeth prejudices him. The book talked about how they from pride and prejudice to fall in love with each other. What makes them change that much? I think it’s love.
Jane Austen is English, that’s why this story happened in North of England. The time in the story around 18th to 19th Century. At the beginning story told us any man of large fortune, needs a wife, it has become a truth universally acknowledged. The book is about the gentle men that in United kingdom' country. The first man that showed out in this story is Mr. Bingley. He is a very nice and easy-going man, but because he is too easy-going, he is always changing and follow his friends' saying and behavior. Mr. Dercy is his friend, he followes Mr. bingley come to this country. At first he think none of the girls are good enought for him. But he found out that Elizabeth is different, she is intelligent, lively, attractive, and witty. She doesn't like Mr. Dercy because of his pride and something she heard about from other people. But she found out behind his pride is a kind and honest heart. She changes her mind about what kind of people Dercy is. And Mr. Dercy got refuse from Elizabeth about marrie. He started to reflect and get rid of the arrogant temper. Elizabeth opened her heart for Mr. Dercy, his pride and her prejudice all been forgotten, happiness has finally arrived. Don't be too pride, don't be prejudice, then happiness will visit you-- I think that's what writer want to tell us.
At the first, Mr. Dercy acts like better and he doesn't think country girl--Jane is good enought for his friend--Mr. Bingley. That's the evidence for Mr. Dercy's pride. Elizabeth can't stand hypocrisy and the artficial. Because Mr. Dercy acts Pride and some people apread rumors makes she has a lot of misunderstandsing on Mr. Dercy. That cause her has prejudice on him. That's the evidence for Elizabeth's prejudice. Then Mr. dercy startes to help Elizabeth's family without let Elizabeth noticed. This is the evidence that he is changing and he still love Elizabeth. They spend many time when Elizabeth went to Mr. Dercy's aunt's place. That makes them know about each other.
I think those evidences are very followed people's mind. We will very easily to believe and don't have any nounderstanding. From Mr. Dercy help Elizabeth's younger sister Kelly and Jane. We will think about he is kind and nice, and we will believe and sure about we will have those kind of peopel in the real life. And in face, we do have those people kind and nice like that. The evidence makes story close to our lives.
I think the book is argument convincing. We must ever meet pride and prejudice, and not get along with some people. This book tells us don't be too pride and prejudice, or you can't meet the people that who you love and love you. I think writer may want to say love is always powerful. I am sure this is right. I believe everybody have love, and the book wake up the love and some more that in the heart. I will feel touch and think that's so close to our lives. in the story, Mr. Dercy changes for Elizabeth. He changes because of Elizabeth's prejudice. And why is Elizabeth have prejudice to mr. Dercy? One of the reasons is he is pride. Love is powerful, we can see from Mr. Dercy's love to Elizabeth. Love makes their pride and prejudice go away. Isn't it powerful enought for these two people?
The book i ever read have a simmilar topic with Pride and Prejudice. Love changes their lives. the girl

To be honest, I did not much like the book at first. The society and the frivolity were detestable to me. But I fell in love with Austen's writing style and with her characters. It gave me much pleasure to see their development, and I found that I could relate to Elizabeth in a way I could not have imagined. Even though our cultures are quite different, our experiences, or at least our reactions to those experiences, bear a remarkable likeness. The more I read, the more I wanted to read.
