What a fabulous debut! A Lady’s Guide to Marvels and Misadventure is a clever, whimsical mashup of the Nutcracker, Around the World in 80 Days, steampunk, & faith with a witty, slow burn reverse grumpy/sunshine romance & lots of adventure along the way. I didn’t know what to expect going in & highly suggest reading it that way. It’s best experienced with just the cover as your guide, & what a gorgeous cover! I loved the exciting scavenger hunt across Europe, romance, & faith-filled story.
