First in this new series. Very good read. Intrigue, romance a little steam. The story flowed and held my interest. I figured the bad agent out but had a problem picking out the "friend" angle. Good read, well worth the time spent.

Barbara Freethy with another amazing book...Sophie is completely shocked by her father's mysterious death which sends her on a hunt to find answers. Enter, Damon, a previous flame of Sophie. They go on the run together to piece together the mystery. This is a great book filled with mystery, suspense and a little romance. The characters are likeable and the secondary characters, Wyatt and Bree, are a good addition. Can't wait to read their story. Loved this book! 5 Stars!

A suspense romance with loveable characters and a captivating plot. This book will probably leave you curious about the stories of the other characters that form a part of the series. P.S. No unnecessarily detailed sex scenes.
