She is also the author of three nonfiction books, including I'm On My Way But Your Foot Is On My Head: A Black Woman's Story of Getting Over Life's Hurdles; Sckraight from the Ghetto: You Know You're Ghetto If...; and You Still Ghetto: You Know You're Still Ghetto If... She lives in California, where she is raising her sister's three children.
