About this ebook

Since when is life on easy mode?Lloyd dreams of becoming a burly solider in the royal capital. But everyone in his village agrees he's the weakest of the bunch, including Lloyd himself. Little does he know, all the inhabitants of his tiny town are absurdly overpowered-and Lloyd is no exception! With brains, brawn, and bewitchery, he has a lethal combo that would put anyone in the capital to shame. Exerting unimaginable strength? You betcha! Casting ancient magic? No sweat! Holding himself in high esteem? Erm, he might need to work a little more on that one...

sometimes an OP protagonist who doesn't know his strength can be fun, but only if they aren't blatantly ignoring the evidence right in front of them for the entire series. And when one of the supporting characters lives with the OP protagonist, promised to help him get used to town, and has incredibly precise knowledge about every area in which the protagonist has broken common sense, yet still would rather complain than just say even basic objective facts like "monsters turn to ash when you kill them, animals don't," I lose all investment in any subsequent conflicts or jokes that rely on the MC not realizing that the "animals" everyone is fleeing in terror from are actually something dangerous.

You either like the OP but clueless setup or you don't. If so, this one is a good starting point for what I hope ends up being a long series. Doesn't get too complicated and generally solves it's dilemma's quickly but it's still fun!
