Bro Code was a disappointing read. Ava was juvenile, and basically came
across as a stubborn nitwit. She is so far removed from the type of lead
female character I've come to expect from this author. To add insult to
injury, the other elements of the story just didn't add up for me, just
implausible. Usually, this trope works for me but I felt like I was reading
her first manuscript.

Kendall Ryan is one of my go to authors when I am in the mood for a light romantic story. She always manages to create delicious alpha BBF that I can swoon over and heroines that I can see myself being friends with. And Bro Code is not an exception. Barrett and Ava are two intriguing characters that captivated me from the very start. Their story is sweet and romantic, definitely hot and a little bit naughty :) Barrett and Ava are two intriguing characters. They are quite different but the connection between them is undeniable. And though there are obstacles in the way of them being together, they feelings developing between them cannot be denied. With every covert look at each other, every stolen kiss, their resistance is weakening and they realise that they are made for each other. In my opinion, it was just beautiful the way they finally came together. So be sure to check it out ;) As I already mentioned, this is a beautiful romantic story. It is a great read if you are in the mood for something sweet and relaxing with a hint of hot. So, if you are looking for a good vacation read, or simply a relaxing one, you are on the right place :)

Ryan has a talent for finding the humor in love. While throwing around
innuendos that are as naughty as they are tempting. The most compelling
aspect of Bro Code is that, the characters never lose their personalities.
Underneath all the hodgepodge of angst, sex appeal and rule breaking, Ava
and Barrett are two people willing to fight for what they want, by any
means necessary. Kendall Ryan is one of a few authors that can make me
forget to retrieve my heart at the end of each read.
