I have a dog-eared copy of this book that I've had for years and have read many times.. It's one of my favorites, and I've read a lot of books. Such wonderful writing, characters whose emotions you can feel, and just a story to tug at your heartstrings. Jocelyn could have left her husband to die as everyone thought he would, but she decided to fight to save him although he was nearly a stranger. No wonder he fell in love with her. I think I'll pull out my copy and read it again.
