These pocket-sized books are the perfect way to get ahead in a new subject quickly. Our expert authors combine facts, analysis, perspective, new ideas, and enthusiasm to make interesting and challenging topics highly readable.

Great introduction to Continental philosophy, especially for those who have been taught within an analytic environment. Giving fascinating pen portraits of the disagreement between various protaganits, but especially Heidegger and Carnap. His sympathetic treatment stiil makes me think Carnap (sorely now neglected ,except in relation to Quine) was right. Neglect is not something Heidegger suffers from.Excellent.
