From the time I was eight years old and picked up my first Anne Rice novel, Interview With A Vampire, I have been in love with the world and characters that she created. Nearly 30 years later, I am still reading Anne Rice's books. They are so immersive, I can easily devour as many as she can write. Her son Christopher Rice has also proven to be a very good writer and I also love his books. Her newest books are just as well written, and I am very quickly falling in love with her newest characters. Anne Rice's novels are a benediction, a kind of dark gift to the world. I can't wait for the next to come out, so I can add it to my collection of much beloved, much read, dogeared library of books.

First book is "The wolf gift"". This the second book in the series. I enjoyed both books. They are about werewolves. How they can be monsters and wonderful giving & loving beings in both forms. Anne Rice loves her werewolves as she did her vampires.
