About this ebook

Loving someone doesn’t mean you can save him from himself.

I’ve always been a man on top of my game. And that game is international espionage. Not on the bad end of it. I’m one of the good guys. Or I had been until about six months ago. My whole world got turned upside down and I’m still trying to figure out what to do about it. So, I went home to Hawaii, and that’s exactly where I am trying to figure out what to do now that I’ve been burned as a security agent.

But when two of my old lovers Randy and Jamie arrive in Honolulu, they won’t leave me alone. I refuse their help and they ignore me. As we spend time together, old feelings float to the surface, and the twosome becomes a threesome. Our nights together are hotter than even the Hawaiian sun. It’s exciting and overwhelming at the same time, and it starts to feel as if this could be something special.

But even as our threesome starts to feel as if it will last more than just a few weeks, danger arrives at their doorstep, intent on destroying everything I love–including Randy and Jaime.

»WARNING: This book contains three spies who like to play games in and out of the bedroom, hot m/m loving, more m/m/f loving, dangerous games, lies, a few misdemeanors, and love scenes so hot, even most Addicts will be shocked. There is also a group of Alpha males with badges who will have their own series, a heroine who knows how to handle her two men, and two men who know exactly what she likes. As usual, ice and towels should be handy to help you through the book.

Now includes Prelude to a Revenge Parts One and Two!

Formerly known as A Little Harmless Rumor. It has been substantially edited.

About the author

From an early age, USA Today Bestselling author Melissa loved to read. First, it was the books her mother read to her including her two favorites, Winnie the Pooh and the Beatrix Potter books. She cut her preteen teeth on Trixie Belden and read and reviewed To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school. It wasn’t until she was in college that she tried to write her first stories, which were full of angst and pain, and really not that fun to read or write. After trying several different genres, she found romance in a Linda Howard book.

Since her first published book, Grace Under Pressure, Mel has had over 60 short stories, novellas, and novels published. She has written in genres ranging from historical to contemporary to futuristic and has worked with 8 publishers although she handles most of her publishing herself. She is best known for her Harmless and Santini series.

After years of following her military husband around the country and world, Mel happily lives with her family in horse and wine country in Northern Virginia.
