I really enjoyed this book and I am 10 years old.It was based on the normal life of a teenage boy who is going through tough stages in his life. I found it sort of uncomfortable to read when it came to bits about what he does with his girlfriend and I would not reccomend it to readers under the age 10 yrs

even though I am 39 it still is a funny book I'm going to be getting the rest soon. took me back to when I read it the first time as a teenager.

About the author

Sue Townsend is one of Britain's favourite comic authors. Her hugely successful novels include eight Adrian Mole books, The Public Confessions of a Middle-Aged Woman (Aged 553⁄4), Number Ten, Ghost Children, The Queen and I, Queen Camilla and The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year, all of which are highly-acclaimed bestsellers. Sue passed away in 2014 and is survived by her husband, four children, ten grandchildren and millions of avid readers.
