M. V. Southworth grew up in a large family in Ticonderoga, New York. She lived with her grandfather as a young adult traveling intermittently throughout the world. Her grandfather's biggest concern, was that he thought his granddaughter was naive. Ignorance was bliss as Virginia lived in other countries and worked her way around the world. She embraced various cultures and learned from them whether it was working in a fish and chip shop in Ireland, or teaching English in Poland; subsequently getting caught in a flood. M.V. Southworth's experiences have drawn her closer to God and her understanding of Him throughout her life's journey which continues to enchant.
