This story….WOW! Indie, Leni’s best friend, has been hooking up with Archer for months. While Indie has fun with Archer, she’s more focused on moving to Silver Island and her new business endeavor. Indie is a successful business woman who developed her own skincare and makeup line. She is also a highly sought beautician and makeup artist. She does makeup for runway models, weddings, etc. Tired of life in NYC, Indie decides to pursue her dreams by opening up a boutique. She’s ready for a slower paced life and wants to get away from the pressures of city life and her unsupportive parents. Archer Steele is one of the top vintners in the world. At an early age, Archer would follow his grandpa around the vineyard to learn everything he could about making wine. It’s always been his passion. His family means the world to him and he would do anything to make their lives better, but doesn’t think he deserves the same. After losing his best friend Kayla, he vowed never to open himself up to love again. He carries the weight of the world on his shoulders and blames himself for everything he can’t control—like his sister’s bout with cancer. Although Indie gets under his skin and he develops feelings for her, he does everything he can to push her away…but she truly sees him and the man he is. This novel is full of goodness! Indie and Archer are a perfect match for each other. I LOVED it when Archer stood up for Indie and put her family in their place. Indie is selfless and lets Archer open up to her at his own pace—she listens and lets him figure out how to forgive himself. Indie truly SEES Archer and loves everything about him and his family. I like that she demonstrates her love through her support of him. I love how supportive Archer and his family is of Indie and her dreams. Their constant bickering is their love language and usually ends up in wild makeup escapades. This novel is my favorite in the series and overflows with feels. Highly recommend! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

4.5 stars--CAUGHT BY LOVE is the third instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult THE STEELES OF SILVER ISLAND erotic, romance series- one of the many spin offs from the author’s LOVE IN BLOOM series. This is vintner Archer Steele, and make-up artist/business woman Indira ‘Indi’ Oliver’s story line. CAUGHT BY LOVE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Indi and Archer) CAUGHT BY LOVE follows the building romance and relationship between vintner Archer Steele, and make-up artist/business woman Indira ‘Indi’ Oliver’. Archer Steele doesn’t do relationships, and for the past decade has struggled to forgive himself for the death of someone he loved, and the estrangement from his twin brother Jock, an estrangement that placed hardships on his family and friends. A friends with benefits relationship with Indi Oliver meant never having to succumb to marriage and love but Archer finds himself falling for a woman who is about to move to Silver Island, and set up shop for the foreseeable future. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Indi and Archer, and the potential fall-out as Archer struggles with demons from the past, battling the guilt and turmoil of a loss from which he has yet to recover. Indi Oliver has always wanted to build a business of her own, and her successful contract working as a make-up artist for New York’s elite gave our heroine a head start with what she had always wanted to do. The relationship between Indi and Archer is one of immediate attraction that begins as a friends with benefits in which Indi battles between head and heart knowing there would never be a future with Archer Steele. Archer is unable to forgive himself for sins of the past, and in this, Archer believes he is not worthy of his own happiness, not even with the woman with whom he is falling in love. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. Once again, there is a large ensemble cast of colorful, flirty, charming and familiar secondary and supporting characters, most of whom we have met in the numerous interconnected series and spin offs. Melissa Foster easily weaves and inserts her previous story line characters such that everyone feels like family and home. CAUGHT BY LOVE is another story of family and friendships, relationships and love; grief and guilt, forgiveness and acceptance. The character driven premise is edgy yet heart warming ; the characters are animated, stubborn and charismatic; the romance is inspiring and provocative.

This is book three in The Steele's at Silver Island and it is Archer and Indi's story and it is definitely a must read. Indi keeps making the same mistakes by sleeping with Archer again after she said that she wouldn't do it again but Archer is a force to be reckoned with and such a playboy so she needs to walk away even though the chemistry and connection between them is so strong and intense but as she was moving to the island to start her business she couldn't afford to let anyone or anything be in her way. Archer is the biggest player on the island and he is proud of it but the time he spent with Indi made him feel different especially as he didn't do relationships or commitment and just had a fun time because of how involved he was in the family Winery that he ran and the always kept him busy and he also had so many demons that he always kept people at arm's length and have talked about his problems or life. What happens when things start to get complicated and feelings are involved so do you walk away or will you right for what you want without having your heart broken. Omg I couldn't put this book down and read it in one sitting until the early hours of the morning and it was so emotional that you need to have the tissues ready because you are definitely going to need them and it was such a page turner and totally and and I can't wait to read more books in this series. Melissa Foster is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and on the edge of their seats and the depth of her story's are what makes you want to read more of her books and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.
