I just finished reading Return and all I can say is, this book does not disappoint. Meli Raine has a way with words that lets a reader know that she loves to write. Well-written with an excellent plot, dialogue, and great characters. Return is an amazing story full of suspense, mystery, revenge, heartache, secrets, lies, deceit, attraction, and sexual tension. It will grab you in the prologue and won't let you go until you've read the final page and having you gasping for more. I absolutely loved this book but now my problem is I need more!

Return is a breathtakingly beautiful journey full of raw emotion and unrealized hope. I unequivocally fell in love with Meli Raine’s The Breaking Away series, so I can only imagine just how incredible this new series will be! This story will keep you on the edge of your seat while slowly ripping your heart to shreds. There is nothing easy about this story, and you will never be able to get it to leave your heart. Once you start this journey, you will be completely committed to seeing lives put back together while hoping that justice will be served. Carrie thought her life was over. She never imagined she would ever be happy again. Leaving her future, her friends, and her life behind was a sure sign that nothing would ever be the same. Like pieces on a chessboard, she feels like things in her are changing and not necessarily for the better. She is drawn back to her hometown to the people she loves and even those she purposely left behind. Being offered her dream job out of the blue has her mind on alert and her heart seeking answers to questions she isn’t sure she really wants to know. Is she walking blindly into a trap, or is perhaps fate is finally smiling down on her? Only time will tell, and she isn’t sure if the sand of her hourglass is at this moment running out. Watching Carrie fall back into the arms of the only family she has left had me on the verge of tears. This amazing woman has in her short live endured more horror and heartache then any person should ever have to. Being offered hope and love has her more skeptical and wary than ever, but at the same time she wants this more than anything. Opening her heart and arms to those she left behind has left her emotionally drained but also given her a quiet strength that she knows she will need to draw from when the time comes. Just when she starts to make progress on unraveling the mystery of her past, she finds herself in even more danger, but she isn’t sure who she can really trust. This series is starting so great. I can't wait for more. Carrie returns home after three years of being gone to get justice for her father. When she gets there everything goes wrong. Not only is she fighting her feeling for her ex. Then her best friend is abducted. This book ends with a cliff hanger so your being warned. You will be begging for more.
