Sigh. What a wonderful second chance romance. Daniel and Caroline met in college and became friends then lovers. As college neared its end, they had different dreams to pursue that was going to create a long-distance relationship. Daniel did what he thought was best and broke it off, shattering Caroline’s heart. Now, the interesting twist is that Caroline remained friends with the Bennett family, so she would see Daniel at some events. Daniel was the playboy for several years but has now built a successful business. His sisters can tell that he never stopped loving Caroline, so their matchmaking skills get kicked into high gear to bring these two back together. Caroline has worked the last 10 years to get over Daniel, but she hasn’t been successful. When Daniel begins to pursue her in earnest again, she finds it hard to resist but she has had some life changes that may push Daniel away. These two have a combustible sexual relationship, struggling to keep their hands off each other which is fun to experience as they rekindle their love. I am never disappointed when I get to dive into one of the Bennett families story. Layla Hagen keeps me coming back for more with her blend of humor, romance, drama and sexiness. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

We are slowly but surely working our way thru all the Bennett Family kids. Oh My Goodness what will we do when we run out of Bennetts to read about? I sure hope that our author has more cousins and friends on the horizon for us to fall in love with because I know I for one am not ready to call it quit with this family that I have grow to love as they have married and expanded with each book that has come out. And I was really lucky to be able to read an advanced copy of this book. It did not influence my opinion on my review at all. In Book 8 we get the next to the last sibling's story. I somehow knew that Caroline and Daniel's story was going to be one of my favorites for so many reasons. So many reasons that I can no share in my review either. LOL Storyline reasons. BUT I will say reasons that are so wonderful. This is a second chance story that all the Bennett family has been saying Hail Mary's and praying would come to pass. No only that the sisters and wives have been helping Cupid along and giving him a shove now and then, LOL. I mean what good are big families if they don't butt in right? I love how our author uses the ten years these two have been apart and the things they have both been through to shape their lives and instead of separating them it builds their characters and draws the together. I can't wait to see where our author takes us with Summer Bennett and hope that this is not the last we see of this amazing family.

I have loved all the books in the Bennett Family series and Your One True Love is no exception. I love a great second chance romance and Layla Hagen gives us that with Daniel and Caroline's story. They have been broke up for ten years, but have never truly moved on. They belong together! I highly recommend all of these books because the Bennetts are a close knit family and they appear in all the books, but you can read this as a standalone. I don't know why you'd want to though, lol. I can't wait to read Summer's story, since she's the last available Bennett sibling.
