If you need a break from all the serious things happening in the world and just want to have time to relax and have fun by yourself, grab a copy of this book. It makes you laugh, makes you feel hungry with so many descriptions of great food, makes you want to go to Paris and visit places and museums. Ellen Jacobson makes fun of everything and everyone, and parts of this story may be even have happened to one of us! Really enjoyed reading this book and looking forward to the next one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Smitten with Croissants is the second book in the Smitten with Travel Romantic Comedy Series. I really enjoyed this book. The characters are well depicted, likable, and relatable. The storyline is sweet and engaging, with humour, romance, and travel... a winning combination! I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

This was a cute read. Mia did drive me crazy with the way she treated Pierre. I get her past experiences were bad but she should have gotten to know the man before judging him.

Ellen Jacobson is a chocolate obsessed cat lover who writes cozy mysteries and romantic comedies. After working in Scotland and New Zealand for several years, she returned to the States, lived aboard a sailboat, traveled around in a tiny camper, and is now settled in a small town in northern Oregon with her husband and an imaginary cat named Simon.
