About this ebook

For the first time ever, The Silo Saga Omnibus brings together all of the work in Hugh Howey's ground-breaking, best-selling, acclaimed series, including the individual novels Wool, Shift, and Dust, as well as original essays by the author, and a bonus chapbook of short fiction, Silo Stories

The remnants of humanity live underground in a vast silo. In this subterranean world, rules matter. Rules keep people alive. And no rule is more strictly enforced than to never speak of going outside. The punishment is exile and death.

When the sheriff of the silo commits the ultimate sin, the most unlikely of heroes takes his place. Juliette, a mechanic from the down deep, who never met a machine she couldn’t fix nor a rule she wouldn’t break.

What happens when a world built on rules is handed over to someone who sees no need for them? And what happens when a world broken to its core comes up against someone who won’t stop until things are set to right?

Their world is about to fall. What—and who—will rise?

it's honestly not that good. The first book is the best by far (3.5/5), the second the worst (1/5 awarded because it's technically legible), and the third is 2nd rate Sci fi which kind of anchors the whole series (2/5 but spends a lot of time making up for how bad Shift is). My advice: Read Wool then go make up the rest yourself. You can't do worse than canon. Every character introduced after Wool is needlessly unlikable and the experimental storytelling gimmick in Shift breaks up the already unforgivably slow pacing. The author somehow sucked the joy out of architecture and mechanical engineering and left a book where you hope one of the characters dies of boredom before you do.

Fantastic story. I was completely engrossed. I tore through all 3 books in less than a week while hoping it wouldn't end.

This is such a super set. That's bike will leave you in a state. I honestly couldn't stop reading. Once you are in this world you are in it. I gave the e books and want to get real books just to have. They really are a good read.
