While Facebook is about people and Twitter is about speed, Google+ is about ideas and passion. Although it covers the mechanics and includes many tips and tricks it's really about the social aspects of using Google+. On the surface Google+ looks like just another social media site but read this book to learn how radically different it is. My only complaint (otherwise I would have given 5*) is that none of the many links in the book work.

Like facebook, this provides a storehouse of personal and sensitive information for criminals to steal your identity or to target you for other theft. An innocent post or picture about work or an upcoming vacation can be used to determine when you are away, what you like to do, the names of family and friends, all which can be used to target you and your identity. I don't recommend either of these. I only use this to keep game accounts separate on the same phone. I never put anything more than required.

A good book with some insights on the other social networking services out there too. I picked up a few tips and tricks too. I could never quite find the right terms to use when trying to get people to jump ship from Facebook but now that I know that G+ is for passions it'll be a bit easier.
