Furthermore, he explains the conversions of Mazhabi Sikhs and Dalits by Christians, Hindus, and Sikhs in the British Period. In the last chapter of the book, he introduces important personalities and organizations of the present period. As a history student, Dr. Mattu adopted a research methodology and aimed to convey factual information to the readers by using historical facts.

About the author

Dr. Bhupinder Singh Mattu (Ex District Language Officer) was born in 1962 in Amritsar, Punjab. His latest book is ‘ITHAAS VICH MAZHABI SIKHAN DI JADOH JEHAD’ and his former book is ‘ITHAAS VICH MAZHABI SIKH ( ANCIENT TO 1947 )’.These books reflect historical events, contributions,s and bravery of Mazhabi Sikhs in Sikhism and other organizations. He also wrote a Survey Book on ‘Dera Baba Nanak’ published by the language dept of Punjab. He did M.A.(History) from Guru Nanak Dev University (Amritsar), M.A., M. Phil., and Ph.D. (Punjabi) from Punjab University Chandigarh. He works as an Editor of the Punjabi Section ‘magazine (Campus Reporter)’ of Punjab University, Chandigarh. His Articles continue to be published in various magazines. He also wrote the preface of many Punjabi books. He is personally associated with various literary societies and social welfare organizations. During His employment in the language department, he worked in various sections of dept, like 'Vishav kosh' ,' Punjab kosh' ,' Baal Giaan', 'Translation', 'Survey', and Punjabi parch alan.
