A brilliant followup for anybody that liked the first book. Marion continues expertly following the thread of R"s evolution from Dead to Other, continuing his deeply poignant inner monologue, while surrounding him with a fascinating post apocalyptic wasteland, a mysterious and fascinating world experience, and mysteries to unravel, including those of his own past.
