Breezed through this in one night. Makes stabs at humorous reasoning & falls flat. If you are looking for serious reading on the right, this isn't it, it is a lot of meek cliché that pours hot water on the wounds of a great society and smugly collects a check at the end of a weakly written hodgepodge. Isolationism is what got North Korea so popular. Calling lefties "mentally ill", or even "lefties" doesn't actually make a good point. It actually makes you sound like you have no real points to make. Much like this book. However the title literally points inversely.

While most, not all, of what he says in this book I agree with and is ultimately true, the title of this book is in the end only mere hyperbally. Liberallism is in fact not an actual mental disorder, of course, as anyone with common sense (and on that note, more people, a lot more people, should read Adam Smith's book "Common Sense", which discusses this very topic, the political right and left) knows, and I hope and pray that more people than not realize that. What these people are, my fellow countrymen, are people who have all been indoctrinated into one party idiology over another, which is a VERY dangerous thing. They are all on the blue pill, just like in The Matrix. And MOST, NOT ALL, people who read this kind of right wing literature are all on the red pill. And unlike in The Matrix films, THE RED PILL DOES NOT WAKE YOU UP. NOR DOES TAKING THE BLUE PILL, OF COURSE. YOU HAVE TO TAKE BOTH OF THEM, ONLY THEN WILL YOU HAVE ACHEIVED COMMON SENSE. But yes, the liberal menace must be put a stop to in these 50 states of ours, if for no other reason than to preserve our constitutional rights. God bless us all.

Michael Savage was born Michael Alan Weiner in the Bronx, New York on March 31, 1942. He received a bachelor's degree in biology from Queens College, two master's degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a PhD. in epidemiology and nutrition sciences from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a conservative American radio host, author, and political commentator. He is the host of The Michael Savage Show, which is syndicated across the U.S. in over 300 markets. In 2007, his media presence and profile earned him the Freedom of Speech Award from Talkers Magazine. In 2009, he was banned from entering the United Kingdom, for allegedly "seeking to provoke others to serious criminal acts and fostering hatred." He is the author of more than 25 books. As Michael Weiner, he writes books on herbal medicine and homeopathy. As Michael Savage, he has written several political books including The Savage Nation: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Borders, Language and Culture, The Enemy Within: Saving America from the Liberal Assault on Our Schools, Faith, and Military, Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder, The Political Zoo, and Trickle up Poverty: Stopping Obama's Attack on Our Borders, Economy, and Security.
