4.5 Stars Another winner in this series! I couldn't put this book down. Dex has a reputation and it's not good. He is in hot water and now he one chance at redemption is volunteering at an animal shelter. That will forever change his life for the better because Ashely and her daughter bring out the best in Dex. He is such a better man, but the best part he wants to be. We learn that his childhood has greatly impacted the person he is. It has left some scars on his heart.

This was such an amazing romance. Dex and Ashley are complex and genuine characters. They were so easy to love, imperfections and all. A brilliant blend of humor, heart, emotions, drama, sweetness, spice takes you on a wild ride that is too wonderful miss out on.
