About this ebook

Should we believe in God? In this new book, written for a new generation, the brilliant science writer and author of The God Delusion, explains why we shouldn't.

Should we believe in God? Do we need God in order to explain the existence of the universe? Do we need God in order to be good? In twelve chapters that address some of the most profound questions human beings confront, Dawkins marshals science, philosophy and comparative religion to interrogate the hypocrisies of all the religious systems and explain to readers of all ages how life emerged without a Creator, how evolution works and how our world came into being.

For anyone hoping to grapple with the meaning of life and what to believe, Outgrowing God is a challenging, thrilling and revelatory read.

Absolutely fantastic. It truly is beautifully written by someone who has spent their whole life studying the science and evidence of evolution by natural selection. What a time we live in where we can sit down and read within the space of a few days someone's life's work, in a way that is entertaining and exhilarating within the confines and comfort of our own homes. It should not be taken for granted the information available to us in the modern day. Education is vital for the advancement of civilization as a whole. Open mindedness and trust in reason and evidence is vital. I thoroughly enjoyed every page of this book. Thank you so much.

The book is the basic version of God Delusion, and its more biological, and evolution point oriented, its good for biological studies. Anyhow when it comes to Atheism, its an attack on religious values, and full of nonsense and gaps...... does nothing to OUT GROW GOD, the book is literally so subjective and open, that it helps to satisfy the believe in God - its deaf philosophically‼️- Its truely Theistic and more towards the need for God, instead of taking it away from God 😇👨‍🎓(Be Cool - Read Cool)

Very entertaining read. As stated by other reviewers it is a simpler form of the "The God Delusion" book. Dawkins again encourages us to not be afraid to say "we don't know" but to chase these unknowns, not to fill them with the "god of gaps" argument.
