This book renews your sense of pride in America as a nation. I felt like I personally knew Kelly, Bear, Eagle and the Seals branch of the military. Most importantly Dee Henderson tenderly navigates Christians back into fellowship with Jesus if they have fallen away from His presence. She explores being angry with God and leads the reader to believe in the trustworthiness of God again. I now want to read and recommend all of her books. Thank you Dee may the LORD's grace be upon you always.

A great read. I've said before that as a dude I really like Dee Henderson's male leads! They are highly competent professionals whose Christian Faith is so much a part of who they are! I also like Henderson's respect for her military characters.

I fall in love with all Dee Henderson's characters, and Kelly and Joe were no exception. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

About the author

Dee Henderson worked as an engineer before she started writing fiction in 1996. She is the author of the O'Malley series and the Uncommon Heroes series. Her books have won numerous awards including the RITA Award, the Bookseller's Best Award, the National Reader's Choice Award for Danger in the Shadows, the Reviewers International Organization's best inspirational book of the year for The Negotiator and the 2002 Christy Award in the Romance category for The Guardian.
