See, looks are not everything. And I'm not just saying that because I'm blind. I'm saying it because it's true. Just ask Auggie. This is a good story. It tell you how Auggie feels, but also how the people he is close to feel. His friends, his sister, Her boyfriend, and her x-best friend, all have something to say. This book shows a struggle with inner beauty and outer beauty, or should I say lack of outer beauty. This book also shows struggles with kindness, friendship, and moving passed differences. In like Auggie. I'm not sure how I feel about Via, she seems, kind of like a friendly jerk. Summer is cool, and so is Jack. They both chose so stay friends with Auggie even though it ment loosing some of their old friends. Well Jack mocked Auggie with Julian and the others, but I think that he was just like pretending. He chose Auggie over Julian in the end after all. I'm not sure why Justin's point of view is in there, but he's a good guy. And Amanda is a good character too. She treats Auggie like a little brother, almost more then Via does. Their's a good ending. But I will tell you now, that this book is not complete. If you want a good understanding of the book you should read, The Julian Chapter, This will give you a look at Julian's side of the story, What made him the way he ", and why ge sent the precept. Pluto, which will tell you about Auggie's past, and show you how Christoper, his old bes friend from childhood think about Auggie. Shinggaling, which will tell you about Charlotte's year, how she reacts to Auggie, and explain why she sent her precept. It will also tell you more about Summer. 365 day's of Wonder, Mo. Browne's Book of Precepts, This will not only give you a lot of good morals to live by, but it will also give you peaks of what happened after Wonder ends. And it will add just a little more insighte to Wonder. It's all a good read. This book and the Julian chapter geed to both be read to understand the book, Their are always to sides to every story. And Mr. Browne's book of Precepts should also be read, because it answers some of the questions between those to. Shinggaling and Pluto are not az important, but they are still worth reading.

There was something wrong with my e-reader as I read this book, the words were mostly blurry. Oh wait, it was because I kept getting teary-eyed. I was very touched by the book. Yes it was creative, but more importantly, it was written with 100% heart. Auggie's story was bitter-sweet, and the different perspectives of those around him was enlightening. I truly loved this book.

My mom told me about this book after a week after my open heart surgery. She sais my little brother acted out at school the other day. Then she said they were reading this book and said my little brother had a chance to tell about me and what he's going through. I cried. I asked my mom if I could buy the book on the family iPad so I can read it and see what he's going through. I love it. I am getting closer to my little brother because of this book.
